LEARN TO PLAY
A quick introduction. For card interactions and detailed rulings, use the complete v1.0 rules below.
Start with 6 cards: 3 Characters and 3 Locations. Both players use equal-sized decks. You can freely mix cards from different games.
Shuffle and draw 3 cards, including at least one Character. If you have none, reshuffle your entire hand and draw again. Randomly choose the First Player.
Starting with the First Player, each player may play up to one Character and one Location. Only one of your Locations can be active. New Characters can fight immediately.
Alternate declaring targets, then resolve all attacks simultaneously. Each Character may attack once. Base damage is Attack minus Defense, with a minimum of 1; reduction effects may lower it to 0. Each defeated enemy Character awards 1 VP.
After Battle and its effects, both players draw one card. An empty deck simply skips the draw. The right to declare the first Battle target alternates each round.
The game ends when decks are empty and no further Battles can be fought. Most VP wins. Tied? Compare total remaining Character Health. Still tied? The game is a draw.
